Kleenex keeper

I don't make many things for the boys. There just isn't too much out there to make for them. Plus I am not as drawn to boy fabric as I am to girlie fabric. But when I found these tissues half off their already marked down half off price, I couldn't pass it up. I know I am delusional that I think just because I made a nice little camo pocket for my son to keep his Kleenex in, that he will actually use the Kleenex, but I thought I would try anyway.
So I started with the tissues. I love a good pattern, even on Kleenex.

Take two pieces of material (it could be contrasting fabric) that is 6 1/2" x 7" each.

Sew completely around leaving a small hole in the LONG side of the rectangle for turning it.

Turn the pocket and iron flat making sure to iron the seam down.

Iron the edges down flat, overlapping if you want.

And sew the two ends across finishing your open seam. Turn inside out and stuff with your Kleenex, hoping the next time your kiddo is stuffed up he will grab one of these and not use his sleeve!
