Christmas inspiration

While everyone around me is busily preparing for the holidays by decking their halls, my halls are still bare. I have not one...
but two mantels in my new house that are just begging to be decorated and yet, you can't decorate if you don't even have silverware in the drawers yet!

So please enjoy some inspiration while I schlep boxes and beds over to the new house today, in hopes that at least the tree will get set up this weekend. Fingers crossed!

And speaking of trees, don't you love this sweet little rose petal tree? I love the vintage feel of it and could envision several sitting on a mantle. Head on over to Marvelously Messy to see her tutorial
Aren't these fabric covered poster board trees amazing?! I have so many fabric scraps on hand that would be perfect. Go visit Cyndy at The Exchange for the how to .
I love a good mantle with the stockings all hung. So I was excited when I saw that Kalleen At Second Street is offering this adorable Believe printable for all of us.

Head on over and check out all three of these wonderful blogs today. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks so much for sharing the posterboard tree tutorial! I have a little extra Christmas fabric and I have been wanting to make some trees!

Good luck with those mantels! I know the feeling. We moved into a new home almost two years ago and we are sloooooowly (but surely!) decorating.

Those mantles are fabulous! I wish I just had one to decorate! Good luck with the unpacking. I know how that goes all too well!
