The 78 minute summer

While many of you have been spending your days inside trying to beat the heat outside, our family has been trying to walk between the raindrops. Our fleece sweatshirts and jeans were getting well used until late July and there was even a report a few weeks ago about how Seattle had a 78 minute summer.
If summer is technically measured by temperatures over 80 degrees, then we had a mere 78 minutes of summer. Yep, that's it. The past week and a half the sun has been shining and the rain has stopped and we have gotten outside to enjoy it! I'm not sure if the temperatures hit above 80, or if we broke our sorry cold weather streak, but the weather has been delightful.
Our "summers" are short, so I'm heading outside to enjoy it. Don't miss me too much. I will be back soon.

I will miss you! ;) But take advantage of every drop of that sunshine, they'll be plenty of indoor blogging time again soon! Hugs!!

I am not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous of your summer! That's like the weather we get in fall and winter. It's so nice! Well besides the rain, I'm not a fan of too much rain. Seeing as we in Texas are having a major drought, you think you could send me some of that weather???!!
