Five minutes to a clean guest bathroom in 7 easy steps

I don't know about you, but our guest bathroom gets a lot of use!
With three kids, the downstairs bathroom is the bathroom of choice.
I don't blame them.
It is easy to get to.

But after my kids use the guest bathroom, it's usually not guest ready.
Grubby fingers leave their mark on the light switch

The fancy soap is barely on the soap dish and built up soap is all over the dish

No one ever uses toilet paper right no matter how many lessons I give them.
Really, it's perforated, I don't know why it's so hard to make a clean tear.
The extra toilet paper jar is empty

And there are water spots and dirt dripped all over the sink.
Pretty sure that's purple paint in there too.

When I want to make sure that our guest bathroom is guest ready, it takes me just 5 minutes.
Want to know how to make your bathroom clean in a snap?

Always make sure your supplies are easy to get to and ready to clean.
I keep mine in a bucket under the sink next to the extra toilet paper, but you wouldn't know that since no one remembers to fill up the extra toilet paper bucket!

I clean the bathroom in 7 easy steps. Are you ready?
Step 1: put toilet cleaner in the toilet bowl to start doing it's magic
Step 2: clean off the counters
Step 3: spray the mirror with window cleaner
Step 4: spray down counter tops and sink with your desired cleaner
wipe clean the mirror, counter and sink
Step 5: use an antibacterial wipe to clean off the light switch
Step 6: use an antibacterial wipe to clean off the door handles
scrub the toilet and clean around the toilet
Step 7: refill the toilet paper

Look how nice the light switch looks now

I put out a fresh towel and enjoy the one clean spot in the house!

You could also use new Kleenex hand towels.
These are the perfect addition to any guest bathroom.
When you have lots of people sharing a hand towel, they are also sharing germs.
Help eliminate the spread of germs by providing a single use hand towel.

You wanna just come over and clean mine for me? You do such a great job, LOL! And I'm lazy. There, I said it.

Thanks for these handy tips. The same applies for economic or designer bathrooms. Any tips on cleaning these bathroom vanity cabinets? They are of ebony wood which is sensitive with blemishes.
